These beautiful ‘Siargao wave’ shell necklaces, bracelets and anklets are made by Raymond, an incredibly talented shell carver. His jewellery uses a cross section of a shell that when cut looks like a breaking wave. According to local legend it can only be found on the island of Siargao, an island known to be the ‘surfing capital of the Philippines’. Everyone sports the iconic shell jewellery – locals, surfer tourists and even the resident island dogs! We fell in love with the tradition and beauty behind Raymond’s shell jewellery and wanted to share his talents with the world.
