Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa is a world famous incense that has such an incredible and complex aroma which manages to be earthy, musky, floral, deep and light all at the same time. For many years Satya’s Nag Champa has been widely used to enhance the practice of yoga, meditation and music as well as for general aroma purposes. Each incense stick is individually hand rolled onto a bamboo stick in India. This incense is made up of a delicate balance of natural ingredients such as the champa flower, sandalwood, herbs, resins and masala. The champa flower from the champaca tree is loved by all in India for its fragrance and bright yellow flower. Indian ladies have been known to place a champa flower behind their ear, allowing the fragrance to radiate as their body heat releases the scent from its petals.
Historically, Nag Champa incense was produced in Hindu and Buddhist monasteries all over India and Nepal. Each monastery had its own secret incense recipe which was not be told to anyone from outside the order. Indian spiritual teacher Sathya Sai Baba’s secret recipe became stuff of legends and is now the most exported incense range in the world!
